The easiest way I made it work was,
Had 2 new verizon land lines ran into the building.
Line 1 was the main incoming phone number,
Line 2 was the fax line since MJ doesn't seem to like fax machines.

I had the same problem. No dial tone, but I could dial from the telephone. However, when I hung up, it would not end the call. Also, I could not hear anything from the telephone.

I've got a much better idea. Run DSL off your MagicJack phone line! It works like this:

1) Just sign up for DSL on your regular land line for one month.
2) Install MagicJack using the highspeed internet.
3) THEN, have the DSL technicians install DSL on the MagicJack phone line!
