I have a couple of original magicJacks running on thin clients and after a re-boot this morning, noticed that 911 service was restored. I have them both on a 5-year pre-paid service plan. I suspect they discovered the legalities involved in shutting down previously enabled 911 service. I've not ...

I have confirmed with netTALK Support that their new policy is you cannot exceed 3000 minutes in a month AND, more importantly, if you ever do, even just once, that you will lose all free calling FOREVER and your only option at that point will be a pay-per-minute plan.

Pretty slick, huh?

Does VoIP My Way allow you to control/change the outbound caller ID number?

For instance, if I wanted to retain my wired landline for incoming calls and only use VoIp My Way for outgoing calls, can I setup the ATA to display the landline number instead of the VoIP My Way number?

Using overlays, as poster roc1479 suggested.
EWF Overlay: EWF protects the contents of a volume by redirecting all write operations to another storage location. This location is called an overlay. An EWF overlay can be in RAM, or on another disk partition.
