Since I have a 4gb hitachi micro drive taken out from my palm lifedrive, after read this thread, bought an adaptor and a cable, the ...

Whistle phone's new area code available now
You can change it once for free.
As I am sick of MJ's blocking ata, thought this would be of interest who are seriously thinking dump MJ when current commitment is over. Whistle on ATA works very well given the fact it costs nothing if you do not mind listening to 15 sec ad (it seems it is hit or ...

The password changed. Just use sipdump to capture memory blocks during MJ startup. Timing is critical, when you see ad panel on the left is up start dump (4 or 5 will work). Use Notepad++ (you will be impressed compare to notepad) to search sip.connection.refresh, the password is somewhere close to ...

recalled-No longer work with ATA?
Failed to register ATAs (rtp300, spa2102 and rt31p2). Used to work no problems. Tried plug in the MJ and it worked. Only thing odd was to ask my password before it is usable. Did not seem to update anything. Does anybody have similar experience?

Before switch to MJ, I used Viatalk for two years and was pretty happy, but its renewal issue drove me to MJ. Had not used landline ever since using VOIP service. I do have a prepaid cell phone as a backup. Now, I have been using ata to host MJ service for more than a year. No big issue at all. Call ...

You need to set the ring count at your answer machine to 4 so that it picks up before MJ. There is nothing you need to do on ata box, but if you do not want false voice message waiting prompt on your phone when there is actually no message on your answer machine you need to make sure at

The settings are basically the same with voice mail related settings disabled. It seems the problem is ...

First of all, go outside and open the box where your dsl gets in. Make sure only dsl pairs connected with the cable from the provider.
Then you will need a spliter to separate line 1 and line 2. By default telephone cable running inside the house has two lines built in. It does not matter if your ...

Call features are available if you are using ATA box
I have tried Block Caller ID per call by dial *81+phone number and it works. The CID shows "restricted" at the receiver's phone. To disable it, just dial *82 and then hang up after few sec. I would assume all the other services may be available by using the code at "Vertical services activation code ...

Fix for no incoming ring and/or outgoing busy tune
After digging around in the forum and play back and forth with my RTP300, I finally made it work. You have to use a correct dial plan.
This is what I am using for now:

Make use of your ATA's call forwarding function.
First of all, thanks for those smart guys on this forum.
