has9999 is right. Set up a free (until the end of 2012, anyway) Google Voice number. Use your MJ to call GV and then call your husband. I've used this technique to call numbers that MJ blocks and it works fine. Get started here:

The GVjackapp works very nicely. I switch back and forth without even unplugging the dongle on ocassion. I just exit the GVjackapp and run MJ's Update to start up the MJ softphone.

I can also just exit the MJ softphone and startup the GVJackapp when I want.

I just ported a Vitality number I have to NetTalk Duo. There was no charge for the porting and the process was not bad filling in the form. You have to select a date for the port to take place 8 days from when you request the port so I'll let ya know how it goes.

Hummm let's see 2000 minute reduction in service per month with their recent change of TOS. How does that stack up with the current perks being offered?

Have you tried just starting with computer on to initiate the login then hopefully MJ+ might share the connection. After it is connected turn off the computer and see if MJ+ keep alive's will keep the connection open.

Try using the router's feature of ip reservations based on the unit's MAC address if your router support this. That way DHCP will hand out the same ip to the MJ+ MAC each time it connects and you can then place that ip in the DMZ.

The best thing about the OBi it's not being tied to a single provider. If GV stopped free service there are lots of cheap providers which will work fine with your OBi. :)

Just go on eBay and see what the price of even a used SPA-3102 is and compare that to a OBi110, which IMHO a better product ...
