Followed your recommendations and also installed a $6.00 handset. Tried it on both my laptops and it ,worked well. Especially well on my Dell 1505. Now have hooked up to my Fujitsu and it works well but volume isn't as good. Haven't really tried tweaking it yet though on this machine. But it works ...
