Anyone know what was included in the recent upgrade for the Mac software?

I'd love to see this as well. If you are an iPhone user, you could then get one of the Growl apps like Howl or Prowl and send Push notifications to your iPhone.

I had the same problem, needed t upgrade the MJ. You can find download links on this forum to the most recent update download, do it manually and hopefully that fixes it for you.

There's now a link to the upgrade on the MJ support page. Downloaded and upgraded, works for me. Awesome to finally have CID on the Mac.

Now I just wish I could get rid of that pop-up window when calls come in. Does it still Accept/Ignore with keystrokes?

Here's what seems to be working for me so far, via MagicJack chat support:

Especially after a restart of the computer: quit MagicJack, & remove the USB device. Let it sit for 1 minute unplugged. Plug in, launch. Sometimes you need to restart via the MJ Menu on the software window.

I also noticed ...

I am having the exact same issue on my Mac running 10.6.2. Used to work fine, about a month ago I started getting the incoming call issue.

I have run the upgrades and forwarded ports as the chat help people have suggested, no luck.

How did you determine which version was actually running?

OK I figured out how to determine the version on the MagicJack device (do a "Get Info" on the application icon on the "Start Magic Jack" icon).

I am seeing the same issue - the device version number is the old one, and not the new one on the Upgrade installer.

I can determine the version of the upgrade application, but not the running app as it's on the mounted device.

Since upgrading to 10.6, I have been having issues with MagicJack not ringing for incoming calls. I need to restart the software to get it working again.

Outgoing calls work fine, and the incoming works fine for a while after restarting it. Seems after a certain period of idle time or something ...

If you look over on the Windows threads here, you'll see some PCs also seem to have the "Caller ID not working on the phone, OK on software" issue as well, so it may not just be an issue with the Mac version of the software.

I only get Caller ID on the Mac, not on the telephone itself.

Yeah you need to plug the MJ directly into the Mac, not through an unpowered hub. A powered hub may work though.

Deactivate keyboard OK for call popup?

I just noticed that when a call pops up, if you happen to be typing and hit the "A" key the call will get answered, or the "I" key to ignore. Any way to turn this off?

I still want the popup, just not the keyboard input.
