Possible issue?
You might run into an issue with MJ if the military is using satellite transmissions for state side voice communication. MJ doesn't work well with satellite communications because of the latency.
I sure hope it will work for you and God bless you and your son.

Much Better
Here in Columbus it appears things have gotten better. I haven't done any extensive tests but the few calls I have made are now going through. Let's hope this problem has been resolved.

All Kinds of Problems in Columbus, Ohio

I have done all the normal maintenance on this end and based on other people having similar issues I am convinced the problem is on MJ ...

Same Problem
Just to let everyone know I am having the same problem. This just started a week or so ago. Everything used to work great. I noticed there was a software download the other day. I'll bet MJ has a software bug.

Disk Drive Powered Off
I know MJ will not work with the computer in sleep mode but will it work if the machine is powered up with the disk drive powered down?

Why run MagicJack as a service?
I have seen several post explaining how to run MJ as a service under Windows but no real explanation as to why this method is better than the start up method in the normal install procedure. Would someone please give a simple explanation.
