Well to follow up, I had no idea what I was talking about. The wireless issue apparently has nothing to do with this. My occasional inability to connect is more related to a codec issue I found somewhere else on this forum. But the good news is I can use my Trendnet router.

The upgrade and then downgrade has jacked everything up for me. Only days before the upgrade came out I had my 192/256 TC running without a hitch. Obviously the upgrade ruined that, and so I've started over and reflashed my TC and stripped it back down to barebones running all of the uninstall files ...

Good to know I'm not as incompetent as I thought. I had previously set up my MJ and t5700 and everything worked fine, but last night I installed a new router and thought it was causing a problem.
