SBG900 & MagicJack.. Any problems?

I was just wondering if anyone had a: Motorola SURFboard® Wireless Cable Modem Gateway (SBG900), and were having issues with MagicJack? I'm looking to get a new modem and was looking at the SBG900, and saw a lot of people bitching about their VOIP phones not working with it.

Any info would be great ...

Yep, same for me as well.. 410 I talked to a tech who said try again in 24 hours, engineers are aware of the problem and are working on it as we speak.

I was having a PM conversation with LikeMagic about my Error 400 issue that's been going on for over 3 weeks now. He suggested that I request for a # change to register with a different area code. So I log on with a tech and he starts the normal, do you have a blue light, etc etc...

Have you tried the MagicJack recover program?

I've tried it as well and it is a legit program.. It came off a MJ server once upon a time. From my understanding, it basically resets the data on your MJ back to factory default ...

I have not tried a whole lot of things (I am sure you are much more technical then I am) but it would be great to atleast know that the problem is not at our end. How did you figure out that the problem is with MJ and not your computer?

I've had Error 400 for over 3 weeks now. Worked great up until then.

I've done everything you've listed, many times.. Plus more..

MJ tech support say they're having server issues/upgrading hardware/no problem at all/proxy registration issues... The list goes on, it just depends on what tech you ...

It seems like they were messing with things for 30 minutes or so, then stopped. Low and behold, still error 400... I think it's almost time for me to find some other form of making calls to Canada.

"If you PM me your MJ serial #, I'll try to see if there is anything strange about your account or the proxy it's connecting to.
The serial number is 14 hex digits starting A921000. One way to find it is to search your registry for A921000 ...

I was kind of getting their myself.. lol Quick question. What version do you have when you go to options? If it's not letting me update, that might be a sign that it is in fact fried. Or at least something that would need to be replaced hardware wise.

It's been a few days with the error 400 "Cannot connect to proxy blah blah blah" for me.
