Edit - removed a double post.

Double Kudos for your hard work HolmanGT, as well as the others who worked to fix this wacko problem. It is just after midnight and I read the post about dxdiag and just like "magic" the T5710 512/512 is back on the air again and running the latest version to boot ...

Did you download the file to the thin client, or are you executing it from a flash drive? Is there any chance that file is corrupt?
You have at least 512 flash and 512 ram? Got it directly from HP site? Latest release of XPe?

Ok now I'm lost, the thin client shows I am running service pack 2 version 2002 of windows xp embedded. What exactly do I need to revert back to? I did notice the warning about sp3 on the magicjack softphone.

Hey VaHam,
Thanks for the info. I brought my usb keyboard home from work tonight and it fired right up. I was able to reflash and it seems to be working fine. Now all I have to do is set it up to my liking and then load the magicjack. We're having fun now folks!!! Thanks also magnum68 for your input.

I have got the usb ready but can't get it to boot from it because I can't tell the bios to look there. I even ...

TC's rock

Hey all,
I got a 5710 on ebay last week and it is due in ups tomorrow. It said it had 512 meg or ram but didn't specify flash size. I am excited to open it up and see what it has. I have had my mj for about a month and it has worked well. I hate the idea of having the main computer running 24/7 ...
