Dear All,

Thank you for your thoughta.

I traced the problem to a firewall on the Qwest DSL modem. after disabling it, MJ started working.

Thanks for your explanation. But I live in the USA, and my ISP is QWEST. I dont think Qwest suddenyl started blocking VOIP few weeks ago, did they?

Tech support is asking me to install this utility:

It looks like an unneccessary service having nothing to do with my problem! I dont want to sign up for any service, just to get my MJ problem solved

Joe,

I installed the downgrade, and plugged in the MJ. But the problem is still there and nothing has changed....

My MagicJack was working fine until a few weeks ago.

Now, all I see on the status window of the MJ screen is "Please, wait..." and nothing happens. After several minutes, the message changes to "please connect to the internet and double click here".

Then it makes me login to a website, and the ...
