Has anyone tried MJTweaks.exe for 7 digit numbers
LevelBest suggested using a program called MJTweaks.exe to provide 7 digit dialing in lieu of 10 digits in November 2010. Has anyone been able to get this program working in their thin client. I am using an HP5710 updated an was wondering if anyone has been successful using this program. His ...

Installing MagicFeatures on Thin Client
Thanks for the reply OTC. I must be doing something wrong. Where did you install magic features from; desktop, flash drive or downloaded it directly? After installing the program did you just use the commit command and then reboot? Did the program hold after the reboot. Any additional comments would ...

Installing MagicFeatures HP 5700 Thin Client Series
Has anyone successfully installed MagicFeatures plug-in On the Hp t5700-5710 Thin Client?. I can install the program from the tc desktop but the tc will not retain it after a reboot. It seems the 'commit to volume' command has no permanent effect on this particular program installation. I tried ...

For what ever reasons I can't get the skin removed in order to make the necessary changes to stop the MJ voice mail. I had a tech friend to try also and he came up with the same results,,, both on a windows XP laptop and a Hp710 thin film with XPe. Maybe its possible to remove the skin to reveal the ...

Not being even a novice I am somewhat confused about the method of removing bigskin, making some changes in the bare ini file...and so on. There must be something that I missed...duhhhhhh! Where does one find the unmasked folder (the file name) where we make the changes? Joevv's procedure seems easy ...

I am running a HP 5700 thin client for Magic Jack support on my home network using a Trendnet TEW424UB wireless usb adapter and Trendnet 432BRP wireless router without any problems. There are also several other computers connected to the network which doesn't seem to slow down MJ operation.

If you will research this forum you will discover the answer to the question(s) you posed. Some forum members have MJ working on the tc5700 with as little as 256 mb ram and 500 mb on board flash. This seems to be the bare minimum for mj; and in most cases even this configuration is on the thrusthold ...

I am using the tc5710 to provide internet to my big screen using the vga out. The converter cable you mentioned ...

I am using a HP 5710 for my mj but I also installed a MJ on my daughter's pc and on a friend's pc. All three MJs seem to be working great. Big advantage with my tc is I don't have to leave a pc running 24/7.

MJ should not cause any problems any more than any other program or device normally running on a pc 24/7. Its quite possible to have a defective MJ but you might want to unplug and replug the mj back into the pc a couple times. Also run the MJ update (download from their site). I agree with djmax041 on the need for net.frame to make magicblock work. Most pcs have net.framework installed but some systems that don't have windows update turned on may be missing it. I ran into that problem on one of the mj installations where I had to update windows.
