If this happens again, just try reinstalling your audio drivers.
I have a number of audio things going on and surprising (knocking on wood) that they don't conflict.
The only issue I had was a known issue regarding MusicMatch and MJ not getting along for some reason. Uninstalled MusicMatch (really ...

I assume you turned off error correction? What error correction protocols does your fax machine use and which one(s) did you turn off?
For giggles, I tried to use my MJ to call some old school dial-up BBS systems. I couldn't get a connection faster than 1200 baud. My guess was that error correction ...

It could be the phone he's using that's causing the problems. Often times the ringers in these phones require too much "jingle juice" (ringer voltage) and can cause the MJ to "trip" meaning that the phone answered, but in reality it did not.
Also, it is possible that phones outside of North America ...

When you spoof your number, the distant end telco will do a database dip and retrieve the name associated with the called number. So it will really look like it came from that number! I tried it myself with my landline and sure enough, the owner of that number came up in the name field.

I downgraded and used Stewart's method of making sure the software did not auto upgrade by editing the HOSTS file. I used the second version (not the original Perl one) of the spoofer. I played around with it and found a gateway that was still working and able to spoof calls (I'll leave that as an ...

I can't get my spoofer to work correctly. All my outgoing calls have a caller ID of the normal MagicJack number. No matter what I type in the spoofing program, it always comes up as the original number that was assigned to my MagicJack.

Calls to Canada
When attempting to place a call to Canada, the call goes through after about a 30 to 35 second delay. Calls to US area codes go through in less than a second.
Is this a known problem or something new?

I have found out that my ISP, Cox Communications, is blocking port 80 incomming and MJ can not make a proxy connection. The ISP has stated that they would not unblock the port.
Is there any way around this problem? Can MJ use an alternate port?

MusicMatch
My problem is with MusicMatch. MJ and MM do like each other at all.
I have to manually go into the task manager and kill the processes for MM to allow MJ to come up.
I have read on other forums that this is an known issue. Wonder if it will ever get resolved?
