Yes.

My system by far meets the minimum requirements to run Windows 7 64bit. Other than MJ freezing my system(64bit), it runs fine. Also, my OS is not an upgrade. It is a clean fresh install of Windows 7 64bit as is my dual boot 32bit version. I am a PC tech, so I build my own computers etc ...

Works on 32bit but not on 64bit Windows

I have been using MJ for almost 2 years now and have had very good results until recently. I went to upgrade my PC to 64bit Windows 7 from 32bit Windows 7 in order to utilize more ram. After doing so, MJ worked for a while and then all of a sudden started crashing my PC. And when I say crash I mean ...

I'm so sick of Comcast's commie antics anyway. This will be the final reason for me to tell Comcast to go F%#$ themselves.

On phone with Comcast now. The rep. is "checking on it"

unless I do a few commands sway me.

I put a shortcut in my quick launch toolbar to power down my monitor with a single click. You can do the same with a shortcut to turn on your screensaver if you want. Just bust out the Google Fu and search for "Screensaver Shortcut."

No need.

Joe,

You could still try the commands:

powercfg /deviceDisableWake Ymax MagicJack USB Device (003)
and
powercfg /deviceDisableWake Ymax MagicJack USB Device (007)

I find it weird your computer comes back with NONE when you do:
powercfg /devicequery wake_programmable
or
powercfg /devicequery wake ...

THANK YOU, but again I am running XP SP3..

Joe Sica

Here's the commands for powercfg under XP. Perhaps you or someone can come up with commands needed under XP.

I'm no expert, but I would think this command would tell you the device name of magicJack ...

This is actually BS!
My phone used to ring just fine with MJ until recently. I have changed nothing. The only thing I noticed is my MJ did an automatic update a few weeks ago and since then my phone won't ring. This has NOTHING to do with our phones. It's MJ and something with their update.

Yes, it will be full at 100 messages and will not accept anymore until you start deleting voicemails.

Assuming that MJ doesn't expect to be around in 5 years, purchasing a 5-year contract probably puts one at the head of the line when they're looking for people to cut off to relieve their capacity problems (since they don't expect to be receiving any future payments from these customers, anyway ...

So the MAIN thing is DO NOT MOVE THE FOLDER! Install it as a service right where it is located now and since than it's been stable for almost a week now.

I had this same issue on Vista. I left the mjusbp folder where it originally was and haven't had problems since.
