I followed your suggestion and the problem is fix.

I reinstall the cd dvd rom driver that was missing and that solved the magicjack issue. Ty for the suggestion.

Does your PC have a normal CD or DVD drive physically installed? If so, is it working properly? Does it have a drive letter? If yes, the drivers for MJ should be the same.
