I thought you always had to dial 10 digits regardless of where you are calling. I'm used to it since you have to dial 10 digits with a land line here anyway, I guess I never noticed...

Yes, with a landline phone (Verizon service anyway) or a cell phone you just dial the 7 digits if it's a local ...

I'm having the same problem too. When I first got magicjack I had no problems dialing local numbers without an area code. I didn't use my magicjack for two months and I go back to it and now i get a message saying i have to dial the area code for a local call, very weird! CS didn't help they said i ...

Well, it gets more confusing. On the area code list it says active next to my area code. I chatted with two reps that told me my area code wasn't available yet and they hope to carry it soon.
