Sometimes when I answer the phone I hear ringing in the speaker for like 5 seconds, then it connects. It works fine after that, it's just annoying.

I installed my (second) unit a few days ago and have run into a problem, where the call gets disconnected after one or two rings. The receiving end hears the phone ring but when answering the line is dead.

Yes Startup Control Panel is a 3rd party add on. I have been using it for many years and love it. Never a problem with it. It is version 2.8 and has been at that version for a LONG time. Why mess with perfection I guess :)

IF you delete OR rename the icon then everytime you reboot it will either add another icon or replece the one you deleted.

I have removed the extension cord and plugged the dongle directly into the USB. I have not noticed any change in quality.

My phone still has burps (/breakups or loss of signal?), beeps and echo. But I am not complaining because it's cheap service!! It's worth the money, fo sho! :lol:

I am able to delete the big skin file, but when I restart MJ it pops right back. What am I doing wrong? Maybe if I got rid of the voice mail my phone would ring. Now, every call goes right to voice mail unless I have just run the upgrade.
