I think I have to object here.

If MJ uses G.729, which is 6.4 to 11.8 kbits per second codec, we can assume 9.1kbps codec.

So, having 2 way G.729 stream for a second is 18.2 kbps, for a minute is 1092kbits, which makes 32760kbits for 30mins and 982800 kbits for 30days
982800kbits is 122850 KB ...

only on the MagicJack number we get a lot of calls that ring 2-3 times and hangup (or if answered they just hang up)

is this something silly the MagicJack system is doing, or some random robot dialer?

Don't get it on my cell or skype numbers

Update on the subject

Hey ppl,

I just got my MJ and directly passed on to recovering SIP credentials.

Good news is, It is possible to recover the password without any brute forcing. I have just recovered my SIP password by reverse engineering. It took almost about an hour.

Bad news is, my password was 20 characters ...
