Are you sure you downloaded the correct file, I just downloaded the newer BIOS unpacked it on my laptop, copied it to a USB flash (thumb) drive inserted the USB drive into my T5700 and launched the bios update from the desktop in XPe, restarted my thin client went in the bios and now my TC restarts ...

Alpman, my MJ caller ID works (sort of), it shows the number of the person calling but not the name. Will this resistor device allow both the name and number to display? Thanks, by the way your prices seem VERY reasonable.

The HP TC5700 you mention will run your MJ with no problem, with that said its pretty much the bare minimum, if it were me I'd upgrade to 512/512.

I broke down and bought a TK, Its not bad but I get some minor stuttering from time to time. It's the same type of stuttering I got from MJ when I first got it. As it stands now I like my MJ better. That could change tho if TK can clean up the minor break-ups.

I have set up several 5700's and I have NEVER had one accept a 1gb stick of ram, 512 is the max. However the 5710 will accept 1gb but it can be picky on the brand.

I tried it then sold it, I didnt have very good luck with ooma it was very choppy and it kept dropping calls, tech support was as bad as MJ's, MJ has been the best bang for buck for me so far. I am looking at the site below but I want to see what the future brings.
