I really liked the idea of MJ and eventually canceled my landline and went all in. My experience: There are times when MJ works fine--good quality and service. But there are other times it's quirky. There seems to be a split-second delay during many conversations. Sometimes I'll hear the other party ...

Apparently, Airset uses a proprietary workgroup protocol to provide its services. MJ uses the world standard Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for its services. Unless and until Airset opens up its protocol, Airset will have to remain in its own isolated cloud.

"callto" protocol, MJ and AirSet
I use Magic Jack and have loved it so far. I am also an AirSet user and love it, too; and a Firefox user and love that as well. Now to get them harnessed together.
It would be cool to be able to autodial from Airset through my MagicJack. Problem is that AirSet apparently uses the "callto" protocol ...
