Is there a specific reason you need to use AVG? If not I would recommend using windows firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials (free).

Not really any reason that I couldn't change, only reason I’m even trying to fix this is, that AVG cost me about ...

netTalk Duo - USB Connect - AVG Internet Security

Good day,

For those of use that are using our netTalk Dou’s via USB on computers or laptop connections I have a couple of questions that need solving.

Basically I am having issues connecting with the provisioning servers when my firewall (AVG Internet Security 2011) is enabled.

Indeed this is true… The Sign in/Sign out feature is very nice to see. However a word of warning to anyone that may try out that new feature during the system wide upgrade. Don’t “Sign Out” seems that until MJ finishes their database upgrade if you sign out you will be prevented from being able to ...

Re: Updating Systems

There will be lots of funky situations throughout today, and I might even suspect tomorrow with your magicJack system.

Seems they are revamping all their databases anticipating a roll-out of a new service. And it looks like a new roll-out of the software client is being pushed down to users today ...

Yup looks like the MJ servers are down for maintenance or upgrading… I’ve been unable to download my contacts or for the matter log into “MyMagicJack.Com” for the last number of hours.

Does MagicJack delete/expunge Calls log/history at the beginning of the year? I was going to make a call today and noticed that my Calls history is completely empty. I didn't delete it myself.

No clue why, but if it was AVG it should be in the quarantine section and you should be able to restore it.

It normally lives here:

E:\magicJack\AddressBook.xml

Where "E" is the first MagicJack drive. On my system it is E & F on your it could be anything i.e. "G" & "H" so if your is G & H look ...
