Some progress...

First, just to clarify, it's the wireless card that IS working ok. The ethernet connection is NOT working. Both are set the same (IP Properties set to acquire an ip address automatically).

Strange Error 3 Behavior

Couldn't get MJ running on my desktop at all. Finally tried my laptop and needed to use a powered USB hub to get it to work (powered USB hub still doesn't work on the desktop).

Anyway, I finally got it working on the laptop and had my 802.11g wireless card enabled at the time, no ethernet cable ...

I hadn't thought about the need to isolate the Telco Line 1 at the jack. I guess I can accomplish that by using a 2-connector cord from the MJ to the wall jack. For that matter, I can probably do the same between the demarcation block and my wiring block (replace the existing 4-connector modular ...

Connecting MJ to Line 2 of a 2-line cordless system

I'd like to use MJ on line 2 of my 2-line cordless phone system. The cordless base is at the opposite end of the apartment from where the MJ computer is located. I had line 2 disconnected by the Telco about 4 months ago, so, it's now a dead line.
