i dunno it started working again randomly. The only thing i copied was the hidden magic jack folder of the 17MB flash and it started to work againn. Some how the old one got corrupted?

i have had the magic jack for more then 10 months or so and it has been fine. But recently it been giving me allot of touble.

im in the same boat as you bud, I have just noticed if you click the little volume icon in your tray and click mixer (im using windows vista) click devices and you should see somthing like headset (2- usb internet phone by tigerjet) turn that to the max, i can't really say if that has helped yet but ...

hey i think it because MJ ios not getting enough power. Are you using the usb wire that it came with? is so try plugging it in directly into the computer and making a call. This was the issue for me i just used a more thicker usb cable and now MJ voice quality is like my homephone.

I suspect this is a problem with my MJ install itself and not the "run as a service" setup, but every time MJ starts, the registration window pops up and asks for my email address and password. Only after I have entered them can I make calls.
