Version / Models

Hello Everyone,

I have a couple of MJ's which my main was the older model & I got another one for a friend to try, which he stopped using so I took it back.

What I am trying to find is there pictures on here that show the different models & possibly what the new model fixed, etc

Thanks

Re: WA state? where?

They did have #'s in washington (Mine, my parents & a couple of friends have WA #'s). However my contract was just about up & i was thinking of buying a new unit for a couple issues that got fixed, but along with you I can't get a new wa # nor I have no idea if I can even move my old # to the new ...

Thanks for the response. My jack is almost up in a couple of months & I recently got one for my parents, but my mom doesn't really like it at the moment (they are having the same issues that I did), so next time I go over there, I am going to try the same things that seemed to have worked for me ...

2nd year & difference question

Hello everyone,

I was wondering to anybody who's purchased a 2nd year later on after your originally purchased your MJ, if they asked for a credit card # or used the same one that was used before?

My second question is, does anybody know what the difference is between the model they are shipping ...

Hi Gooney,

I do realize that not every one is having issues with their MJ, but at the same time not everyone is having theirs work great either, so I figured I would throw another option for something to try.

Can I ask what your up/down rated speed is & thru what provider?

For those who's connection break's up (sound)

Hello All,

For some reason if I am doing something online, the other's callers voice breaks up, but if I'm not doing anything, then it sounds fine. I was at Fry's the other day & saw they had this Broadband Booster for $30

Well I read some reviews & people liked it, so I figured I would try it ...

I just started running it as a service. Basically what I did was:

1) Created the Magicjack admin account & logged into it.

2) Installed the NT resource kit as listed above

3) Unplugged & plugged back in MJ so it detected it.

4) Created a reg file of the above exported registry value & imported ...

MJ automatically has no dial tone

Hi Folks,

I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with my problem. I have my MJ plugged directly into the usb port on the computer. When I reboot the machine, I can get MJ to work with no problems. However the problem is about 12 hours later, the phone will go back to having that noise ...
