Faxing Tricks
i have a Brother 575 fax machine that i got at the Goodwill store for $6.24 and all it needed was the fax film my settings are- Overseas Mode=yes and setting the resolution of the outgoing faxes to eithe Photo or S. Fine. I have no issues sending out faxes.

From what I understand (and depending on your version of linux that you have) some people have had success with a program called Twinkle 1.4.2 and Xlite.

I am using a Uniden 5.8GHz EXI8560 Cordless Phone. I love this phone except the caller ID does not show the phone number. I love the service and I can deal with the caller ID # not showing.

Magic Jack Faxing
I have had a 75% success rate with faxing with Magic jack. I have a Brother 575 Fax machine. I do the following to get mine to work: 1) I change the compatibility mode to basic 2) I put a DSL line filter on the Magic Jack 3) I turned the overseas mode to "ON".
