I tried MagicFix and it said everything was fine, including the audio check. I then tried the other "if that doesn't work, click here" button, but the link was broken. I didn't have time to do the tech chat option last night. That'll probably have to wait until this coming weekend.

I get a dial tone (which I suspect comes directly from the MJ device itself). But when I make outgoing calls, or receive calls, neither party can hear each other. You could put something like Pop-peeper (email checker) on your system. It will check multiple accounts, is free, works good and has an alarm when anything is in your email inbox and you can set it to play any sound you want and remind you every five minutes until you at least check your mail ...

I've had MJ since mid-February and the VM light on my phones has never lit up and the dial tone has never pulsed to indicate a voice message is waiting. I can't say whether there is any indication on the soft phone or not, as I rarely look at it. The last post in this thread indicates these features ...

I'm happy to report that my wife tested using the softphone for connecting to a conference call yesterday and it worked. Thanks again for the tips, including the new one about using the keyboard rather than clicking.

Same here. I use the softphone and that works fine.

So I can just push the buttons on the application and then once the conference call is going, I can then wander the house. That works. I'd obviously prefer that it work from the phone, but I try not to complain too much when I'm paying so little ...
