I've modified the steps that vdot provided to disable MJ voice Mail to work when MJ is runned as a service (see post on this topic). This works as long as I set my answering machine to pick up on 4 rings. For some reason, when I set to 6 rings, it does not pick up and the phone ... it just keeps ...

Has anyone tried disabling voicemail through the registry and then running this app? In the past I manually set up the MJ to run as a service, but this caused the voicemail to start picking up again.

Here's what you want to do for Call Continuous (w/o vmail & w/o problems):

Run the Registry Editor ( regedt32.exe ), and Navigate to this hive entry :

I've got the jack set up to run as a service in win7. It is working great. However, I can't "disable" voicemail as described here . If I run the jack normally, voicemail never picks up, but when running as a service, voicemail always picks up.

Anyone have any ideas what may be going on here ...
