In this case i went through with VoIPDude a couple of days ago with my magic jack as well .. Let me tell you ..
That i was able to get my hands on an old MJ and the software started working right away and the System error: mismatched audio devices that i used to had went away.

The newer magicJack chips appear not to be compatible with the TJ software. Older dongles appear to work fine.

I am lead to believe my version of the MJ will work fine with the original TJ driver set. Do you have that set?

I have the same problem. It would seem that much of the software from the install is not necessary - only the drivers for TigerJet ...
