MJ tit's up after windows vista update ????
I have automatic updates. I installed updates on the 16th, and my MJ instantly quit working. When I try to dial, the display on the MJ only shows one digit ( changing as the phone sends the no. ) My question is : Which one of the 9 updates did it? Experiance tells me I can only back-up to the same ...

HEY MIKE
Hi all. "Mike" e-mailed me to ask if these were still available. I get a bad address when I try to answer. So I'll try to get his attention here. Yes, they are still avilable, and I'm still giving away antenna boosters with them.

CID DTV do-dad
Hi John. I am unsure if this will fix your problem. The do-dad puts 100k ohm of resistance in parallel with the phone line. When you add it to a third (parallel) circuit, the total resistance decreases. You may need a 50k ohm or more. ( the lower the number-the higher the resistance ) On the other ...

MJ must have this problem under control, as I havn't sold a do-dad in 3 weeks. I will continue to keep these on hand just in case someone needs one.

100k do-dad
Hi all. I just want to emphasize, the do-dad forces the phone to display the CID number only, not the name. It won't display the name even if the caller is on your contact list. Also, therre is some confusion on how to use the do-dad. You will have to purchase a splitter to plug the do-dad into ...

$5 do-dad
Sorry bendle, I'll re-state the deal I came up with. $5 for 100k resistor inside an rj-12 round wire connector. As a bonus to my brothers on this forum, I'll throw in 2 cell antenna boosters. Here is my e-mail (and paypal):

do-dad
bendle.........I sent you a cheap but fair price to your PM. Anyway, here it is.....$5 for a do-dad and since you are part of this forum, I'll throw in a couple cellphone antenna boosters. It was not my intention to use the forum for a sales platform, hence the detailed instructions. I hope I am not ...

do-dad
Hi Leons. I could sell you a do-dad if you like. But I am happy to expand on the instructions. The hardest part is getting the bends just right. To start, you must squeeze the resistor just enough to fit inside the plug. Then shape as per the picture. The crutial step is getting the two leads to go ...

Inbound CID - Solderless Fix
First of all.... kudos to snafu2 for the 100k resistor. We needed the cheapest, best looking fix we could think of, as we are re-sellers. I thought I would share with the forum since you have been so much help. Plug this into a splitter, and you are good to go. If you don't have a crimper, just use ...

Hi ladibug. I'll give this a shot for ya.
First, most problems can be fixed with a reboot. I mean you should restart everything, modem, router, pc. Then try a different usb port. If that fails to help, you may have to uninstall MJ, and reinstall. If you are running vista, make sure to get the vista ...

I'm not going to attempt to answer all your questions. My biggest beef with MJ is the lack of area codes. I live in South Dakota. The long distance is free for me, but if my neibor calls me, he has to pay long distance charges. I selected a Berkley California area code, now my daughter in school can ...

Mine does the same thing. It would't be a problem, but you won't be able to update your MJ. I have ordered a replacement for mine. Good luck.

There is one thing I didn't mention. My MJ is not recognized by the MJfix. I also can't download the beta mac because it doesn't recoginize the MJ.

they can hear me - I can't hear them
My MJ works as long as my new pavilion is on. As soon as I put it to sleep, I can't hear the caller. I can call out, and receive calls.....no audio on my end. I have not tried a headset. I spent 4 hours chatting with MJ's .....well lets call them agents. No help. I un-installed, and re-installed, no ...
