Well I got my connection back by opening 5060 and 5070 ports. And I think you are right about the issue being my modem/router. From what I have read the Motorola SBG900 has issues with VOIP. No wonder I got it for free, get what you pay for I guess.

Tried the MJ on my brothers pc, worked like a charm. Used his phone on my pc, and still the same problem, cant hear the other end and they cannot hear me. So I know the MJ does work, at least on someone elses pc

Mine is different in that it has never worked. Get dial tone, phone rings, seems OK, then no sound or voice. Am not too PClliterate as well to boot :( . Its probably is something so simple .
