Concerning the Linksys 2102, I see both "factory" and "unlocked" units for sale on the internet, which do I need. With the configuration above, the MJ resides in the computer usb port and the analog phone plugs into it..not into the Linksys, correct?

Been playing with MJ for a little over a week trying the solve audio problems.

When I run Testyourviop I get reading of 2.4 to 3.1 and choppy audio. When I re-boot the router and the modem the test readings fall between 3.7 and 4.0 and the audio is much improved. Does this tell me anything other ...

My cable modem speeds are 7498 kb/s down and 129kb/s up. which seems on to me. The dialtone problem is on test calls to my landline and my cellphone...no error message on softphone. I'll try the direct connect bypassing the router. Thanks
