I've tried running the update on my hack.
No write access there.
I've run the update from windows.
I forgot to mention I get this error in console on both the hack and macbook pro:

6/1/09 7:35:32 PM kernel SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE failed, SENSE_KEY = 0x05, ASC = 0x20, ASCQ = 0x00

My magicjack stopped working on my macbook pro (2.33ghz) around the time I updated to 10.5.7.
When I plug it in a window pops up with a folder instead of the magicjack icon. The folder has a red line on it and when I select get info from the finder it says no access.
The magicjack actually works ...
