Anyone found a solution to the infamous "I'm sorry but I cannot connect your call" with WP on ATA? I have an open ticket with them, but have no big hopes. It would seem that people have kind of resolved the issue using asterisk but I'm not ready to go that path due to the learning curve.

They must have pushed anther update lately, cause my TC is crawling now and have many more dropped calls. Anyone else has the same problem here? Anyways, I guess I'm going back to the 24/7 laptop solution, I have an Celeron Toshiba in the attic somewhere...:((

Usually the recommended solution for call quality is a powered USB hub (or PCI card in desktop machines). But, I've never known the HP thin clients to be short of power. It is something to try though.

OK, here are ny findings.
Call quality is just fine for outgoing calls. Incomig calls quality more than poor (when I succede to answer them..).
Set priority to high on TC didnt change much.
Also,
Noticed that there is a QoS in XPe that's disabled. I did enable it and started it but no better results ...

Its a Transmeta Crusoe at 1GHz have uninstalled all Altiris routines and running only MJ on it. I still have around 650MB of free HDD (Transcent) on 1GB total and 512MB RAM.

Same here,
ATA down last week, retrieved new PW and up and running for 4 days. Today down again, PW has changed again and this time ATA doesnt work with the new PW.
Running MJMD5 on DD-WRT. Back with dongle but quality is by far not as good as with ATA.
Any guru left in the forum to help?

If you run sp2, check and see if your modem is supporting it. In particular, check jffs see if enabled. If still doesnt load automatically, I would reset to factory defaults and reconfigure.

My password changed but my SIP stayed the same. Still unable to login using ATA/MJMD5 on DDWRT.
Too bad, back to the good-old-dongle/PC type of s..t, till some guru in this forum figures out the solution to this new challenge. If not, that would be the end of my 2 year MJ experience.

Both my MJs dd-wrt/MJPROXY//ATA stopped working today, after a year of faithful service. Anyone has same problem this morning? Let's hope thats a server issue and not something else that would need more work on to be fixed. I already spent hundreds of hours working on these MJs.

Under "Regional" down towards the bottom of the admin page, there is a ref "Callee on Hook Delay". It sounded like it could help my problem and I changed it from 0 to 1. From then on it works fine its been about 3 days now and about a dozen of answered ...

Changed the line cord but this didnt resolve the issue. Tried the "sinusoide" solution but unfortunately it was already configured that way so this is not it. I also tried the other optin "trapezoid" without success. Any other ideas and tweaking to do? It looks like the Regional page of the Pap2T ...

Some more info, I noticed that the phone hangs up when I press the answer key during the ring. If I press it during the "silent" period it goes through nicely. I also noticed that when it hangs up, I can hear this grr.... noise, like being in pulse mode instead of tone mode. My phone is set in tone ...

Tried the wired and cordless. It seems like with the cordless the problem is more frequent. But it also occurs with the wired phone but rarely.
Tried also a new VTech out-of-the-box, but have same issue. do you think it may be a setup in the ATA? Any ideas/suggestions?

I'm running MJ on Linksys PAP2T/dd-wrt/mjmd5. I have the Uniden 1560 cordless that gave me no trouble for couple of months now.
I suddenly have the following problem. When the phone rings, I pick up the cordless, hit the answer button, but the phone hangsup.
Any ideas? Wondering if it is a Uniden ...

you can use it with an ATA like PAP2T/MJMD5 or with a thin client like HP TC51xx. Go though the threads on each one, there is a wealth of info. good luck ...
BTW, my both MJ work just fine with PAP2T/MJMD5, as fine as are my $$$ in my pocket instead in ATT's deep pockets.

I should have added that I'm running MJ via DD-WRT/MJMD5 on PAP2T. By far not an expert but I have a feeling that MJMD5 being a proxy, one could hide the CID. Not sure how though. What's your opinion on that?
