I hate to ask, but have you confirmed this phone rings on another line? Sometimes, we forget that there is a ringer on/off switch on most phones, or they break etc.

Confirming this will ensure we won't lead you on any wild goose chases while chasing down the solution.

Try using a different phone. I get the best results using an OLD princess phone from Bell Telephone. My modern cordless phones don't work that well with MJ.

I installed the the soft phone upgrade mentioned previously in this thread. It worked for me, so when my neighbor called my landline from her mj, which was beeping like crazy in my ear, I sent her the link. After she downloaded it, she called me back--mj to landline. I didn't hear a single beep.

I have rec'd several calls from different mj users today. None of the calls had any problems with audio.

That must be a new policy or a policy of an individual Radio Shack.

I have been calling MJ to MJ from Arizona to Nanjing, China. Slight speech delay and minor echoing. BUT I LOVE THE PRICE!!!! 19.95/year!

The phone rings loud and clear when it is not hooked into MJ, but when it is hooked into MJ, the ringer shounds like a cat purring and you can't hear it unless you are sitting next to it.

Any ideas?
