No Output Audio XP Box

Magicjack worked flawlessly for a week or so..then I was forced to reboot my XP box and now my magicjack wont work. Everytime it comes up with the 'no output audio' error and I am unable to toggle between telephone & headset. When I try dialing on my phone it shows up on the screen..then on the last ...

DSL Service & Magicjack whole house wiring

Here's a question..and I think I know the answer but i'm looking to double check..

I know how to do the whole house wiring for voip (where you unplug the master line from the telco in the box, then plug the magicjack directly into the phone jack and since their all daisy chained they will all work ...

and now after unplugging the magicjack & rebooting the PC hoping for some sort of upgrade I get an error message when I try making a phonecall that says 'no output audio device found' and I am unable to check telephone/headset under the menu! I think thats a sign that MJ is doing some server ...

Ok, I checked my taskmanager during a magicjack phone call and the cpu usage never exceeded 50%..so its not a machine overload issue. Same with the memory, never exceeded 30% so not a memory usage problem either.
Test your VOIP still gives a MOS of 4.2 & 4.4...so its not an issue with my connection ...

Jitter/Garbly

I am having problems with my calls breaking up & kind of jittery....and I can't figure out why...

TestYourVoIp.Com gives a MOS score of 4.0
DSLreports.Com reports my speeds at 4398 down/601 up

so i dont think its a speed issue...
could it be a system issue?
I'm running it on an old 2001 Dell ...
