I have had my register time on my ATA set @ 180 seconds, however I have noticed that with wireshark the actual MJ Dongle makes contact with the proxy (proxy01.xxxx.talk4free.com) every twenty seconds?? is this a re-registration or something else?

if something else, what is it?

Proxy works great, running the command line version using mono on a freebsd box, love it.

Is there any options for verbose output? Or log file usage?

Also, can u make a program which will fully emulate the dongle? IE: hit the 911.talk4free.com, provision.talk4free.com etc.. So that way ...

Where do the nonce and the callid values come from? I mean I know where to find them, in memory, but arent they transmitted from talk4free.net? And if so, cant our 'smart' proxy automatically change those values when new ones are rcvd?

Earlier i posted that i had 2 accts, one on an ATA and one not hooked up, i used the second for my ipod (sipphone).


Well MJ just killed the second act, so whatever upgrade there doing, if it didnt get u yet, it will...

I am running on an old pc now untill my ATA works again, the sound qual is not as good on the pc as it is on the ata. Plus its heating up the closet ive got it it, not to mention having to reboot almost daily as is the norm with winblows..

Cant wait 4 u geniuses to figure it out.

I've got 2 MJ accts, one works on my ATA, one does not. Similarly one now works on My ipod (siphone) and the other errors out with the failed creds message. I am wondering if, once this is figured out, will siphone dev/hacks add functionality for added auth? I was going to buy a third MJ for use ...

So what your saying is maybe the SIP cred sniffer progs could be updated to show the cert info and that info could be put into the pap2 under line1/2-mini cert/private key fields?

In running some diags, i noticed a wireshark message with "realm=radius.com" in it somewhere.
