You may want to try the following steps, then do the upgrade. This is what I did and like I mentioned earlier, the beeps went away, at least for today. Good luck! Who knows, I may be back here again tomorrow!

I dowloaded file from the following link

and made 2 phone calls, no beeps were reported. So far, so good! :D

Just got a response from Arnold.....here it is.

Please click on the link below, download the zip file, unzip it, and then double click on the upgrade.exe file with your magicJack plugged in to run the upgrade. This should resolve the beeping problem you have been experiencing.

I figured it was not going to work but I still decided to post their response as in case any of us had not seen or done this instructions. Thanks for letting me know as I am typing from my daughter's pc and have MJ pluged to my work laptop. I will not waste my time to do these steps!

Here is what they had me do couple of days ago and still hearing the beeps. I just made a call and noticed on the sofphone pad the numbers 882 after the phone number I dailed. I never noticed that before. I hope they fix this soon.

I am having the same annoying problem
