So I hear the new update screws with the abilities to acquire SIP info...
Is this true?
Also I notice someone mention that the magicjack app collected certain passwords and what-not it should not have... If this is the case, we could file a lawsuit against MJ.... Just a thought...

I am going to state again, I am using Xlite without MJ Proxy...
I have been for about 2 weeks...
You do not need the proxy!

Um if you would have read the rest of my posts, you would see I am using xlite...
I just need to know if it is legal given the transcript with MJ...

And by the way, you don't need MJProxy, you can just plug your sip info into xlite...

Solved the issues! I had to disable all the codecs except G711 aLaw!
Does anyone know of any other possible issues in using eyebeam or xlite?
Also does anyone know how to make the voicemail notification work?
EDIT: Still getting the occasional "Gone" message when x-lite initializes, a fix for that ...

Although I gotta say, it's a shame cuz I fell in love with x-lite's features... The missed call notification thing, and the DND button... And I tested it and it does not steal focus at all... It just rings in the background...

Alright, I sorta got xlite working after fiddling with the SIP account settings for some time but now people can call me and I can hear them but they can not hear me... Any idea what the problem maybe?
EDIT: Only on incoming, if I call them, they can hear me fine...

Alright, I have decided to go with xlite, but I need a configuration guide for setting up the SIP account...
I take it proxyusername and proxypassword go in the username and password fields but what other info do I need to make sure goes into xlite?

Hmm Might work... but from what I was reading isn't the sip info hard to acquire now?
If I can get a half decent guide I can figure it out, if it is in-fact still possible...

What's MJ proxy?
I'm lookin around and all I'm findin is how to use MJ with a proxy, which not only is pointless but it would slowdown my internet connection 95% of the time (I've used proxies for rapidshare and a few other things, but only when necessary)

If I wanted to spend money I would buy a phone and run it as a service...

Try maximizing a video in Windows Media Player and you will not see it affected. Now try fullscreening a video in Window Media Player and you will see the video switch back to windowed/maximized when you call yourself.

It seems this is a standard "full screen" behavior. Not specific to MagicJack ...

MagicBlock doesn't minimize the game, when the softphone rings, the game minimizes and stays minimized. None of the apps I have tried have prevented this from occurring.

I tried MagicBlock, it minimized the game on incoming... And just to be certain, I just tried it again, it's not a 1/10th flash, it straight up minimized my game...

For me, MagicBlock doesn't minimize anything except MagicJack. MagicJack will steal focus for 1/10th second, however long it takes ...
