Was there a fix for this yet? I don't feel like reading 20 pages...

EffinMJ claims that by holding down the backspace key, he can solve this problem. Another friend of mine claims the same thing. I haven't tried this yet, but I found that if one presses a nine volt battery on the backspace key ...

Really!? Has anyone else tried this? I can put a weight on the backspace key when I talk.

The random beeping is what is called 'talkoff'. It seems to be common with VoIP equipment. High end VoIP phones/ equipment allow adjustment of this to reduce or eliminate it. Some routers that include VoIP also have this setting. Apparently MJ does not (there's a big suprise)
