Wyse V90 and Magicjack...please help...

Hi,

I bought a Wyse V90 in August 2009 and used it with MagicJack for a month. Then got a iphone and was using VOIP thru my data plan to get going. I felt the need for a landline and wanted to try again with Magicjack. My thin client comes with 1GB Memory with 512MB flash ROM.

It seems Magicjack ...

Re-imaging Wyse V90 P/N: 902094-21

Hi,

I finally got the Wyse V90 Part No: 902094-21. I wanted to do a fresh re-image of the client. Here is what I did:

1. I downloaded the Wyse USB Flash Disk Imager v1.41 from freewysemonkeys.com and ran the usb_format.exe to format a 1GB Flash Drive.

2. Downloaded the XPe SP2 image from here ...

Hi,

I'm getting a Wyse V90 1Ghz/512/512 from eBay and it is on its way. Does this TC need a powered USB hub? Also, does the HP TC how-to techniques and tweaks work for this one?

Thanks.

Wyse V90

Hi,

I would like to know what difficulties did you face buying from that eBay seller (staplesand77). Was the transaction bad?. Just wanted to make sure before I go for the auction. Is the Wyse V90 that you bought from this seller working perfectly w/ MJ?

Appreciate your reply.

Thanks.

MJ with ATA...Please assist...

Hi all,

I'm going back and forth on whether to get TC or a ATA. The latter has better voice clarity and other neat stuff etc. I have couple of questions before I make a informed decision.

I assume that a computer is not needed and also not needed to be running at all when using MJ with ATA. Having ...

How about this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300327488732

It seems this item has no OS and also no power supply. Can anybody tell what is the exact power supply that goes with this and also if it comes with no OS, all I have to do is install WinXPe SP2 on this thru USB and good to go?

Thanks.

Question on these Thin Clients

Hi all,

This is my first posting here and I just ordered magicjack for $46.95. It should arrive in a few days. I'm also curious on buying one of the best thin clients that go well with MJ even after doing frequent software updates from MJ. Having said that, I have narrowed down to the following ...
