Similar results can be obtained without the pictured adapter by simply placing the magicJack near the AC outlet. Protip: duct tape it to the wall.Ben Zona wrote: Where can I get the adapter in the first picture?

I suppose my previous comment can be read in different ways. The point I was trying to make is that the inconvenience of dialing 1 is spreading.

Re: issue with tk6000, cannot input extention number or othe
This may soon be required for all people who don't have the ability to write their own dial plans, including users of land lines. I was just informed yesterday that dialing 1 will soon be required in my state.fuguansun wrote:Plus everytime you have to dial 1 in front of any number, is that annoying?

While I don't have a fix for your problem, I don't think the dial tone is significant of anything. I keep my MJ plugged into the USB port, but I disabled the softphone from starting up automatically and the connected phone always has a dial tone.

az1324, is there any chance you would consider releasing the source code? I'm not sure how far I would get with it, I'm not really a Windows guy, but I would certainly use this opportunity to cut my teeth.

This is just a guess, since I've never used an ATA for magicJack, but have you tried lowering the value of Cfwd No Ans Delay ? Per the registry hack for disabling voicemail with the magicJack dongle, 15 seems the appropriate value. I tested that value on my dongle and it worked. The problem I found ...

I wound up deleting my IPKall account and then requested a new number. Still waiting for over 12 hours... I'm doubting they'll send me a new number because, like you say Mel, we're not the only ones getting bit by GV-locked numbers and IPKall will probably tire pretty quickly of new requests.

Thanks for the reply, Jose, but the problem is I can't even get to the Sipgate signup page now. It redirects to a page with the message I previously posted.

Somewhat OT: I have a D-Link DI-524 as well and have noticed intermittent connection drops and other weirdness like web pages loading without CSS and such. One thing I'd like to modify about GVOut is I'd like to have it start minimized or, better yet, have it sit in the notification area and/or run as a service. The main benefit of this, for me at least, is to help prevent GVOut from being accidentally stopped or having its configuration botched by ...
