The potato method interests me, but I've had no luck yet with krinkle cut or curly fry. I'm now considering to invest in a whole brand new potato.

Edit: I found an old yam in a box of parts in the basement. I hope it works. There's nothing like breathing some life back into old gear.

Ben, I'm glad to hear it's working for you. If call quality becomes an issue, consider duct taping a USB hub next to it. And don't cheap out, get a good roll of duct tape.

Similar results can be obtained without the pictured adapter by simply placing the magicJack near the AC outlet. Protip: duct tape it to the wall.

GVOut version 1.1.5.1 has been working well for me. I don't use a PAP2T, I use a SPA3102, but that shouldn't make much of a difference with regards to GVOut.

This may soon be required for all people who don't have the ability to write their own dial plans, including users of land lines. I was just informed yesterday that dialing 1 will soon be required in my state.

It was a joke.

As for seriousness, I don't use my mJ anymore (nor will I renew) and it has nothing to do with lack of phone support. The product, in my opinion, is unreliable and of poor quality. YMMV.

It's a 20-bucks-a-year phone service, I didn't expect much and I got what I expected.
