To use your fax software you must have a modem installed in the machine. I assume you have a modem. Therefore, disconnect the phone that you've plugged into the magicjack and plug a cord in from your modem. Tell the fax software to dial out. I have had some problems with this because my fax ...

I faxed 13 pages with the MJ the other day! I had to slow the speed of my software from 33.000 to 4800 baud and disable error correction. It worked like a charm ! :lol: sorry, this does not address the question

the other two answers did not address your question.......my opinion is that, yes, you can have dialup over the mj thru your dsl.....that is exactly what i am trying to achieve so i can spoof my ip thru the dialup signal, whereas i cannot change the ip of the dsl......i think the solution is simple ...

i want to use the microsoft dialer to dial thru the magicjack....it would also be useful to use my software fax dialer to dial thru the magicjack. so, how do i interface program dialer touchtones to the magicjack screen? this use is without a modem. anyone with the hack?
