Isn't the bottom line let the free market decide??
Who asked you?
. I think it was a mistake settling on the exact prices as NetTalk, but time will tell.
I agree as side by side for the same price a human to talk to for C.S. beats a chat everytime. UNLESS it is "Dave" in India whom ...

Honestly the iPhone and iOS is great and all, but I am disappointed in the fact that they didn't expand to android and winphone7. It just seems like they're only catering to the mac crowd with this and not much else. An Android app would most likely get a hell of a lot more exposure than just iOS ...

I would probably say that the 10 dollar price increase is most likely due to the marketing and manufacturing expenses that go into making the pluses. Then they charge like 69.95 for the plus to make somewhat of a profit on the device so that they can continue to operate. Realistically they probably ...

So yeah Magicjack+ did not like my Rosewill Gigabit switch even though it does 10/100/1000 just fine, I should also note that Untangle which is what i use as a dedicated Router could not obtain the mac address from the Magicjack+ so I had to hook up an old linksys router I had lying around to get ...

Originally i had Comcast Digital Voice and all they did was check to make sure the line from att was cut and then they just plugged the cable modem into the RJ-11 outlet, more or less once i got rid of that modem and their service i did the same thing with Magic Jack and it's worked fine, i would ...

There isn't really an exact fix for this problem as it seems you're trying to use the same computer you have magic jack on. If you search the forums you'll notice that in most cases it's better to have magic jack running on its own seperate computer or on a thinclient or a laptop. The Magic Jack ...

Actually it could've been a number of things though i would have to say that you might just need a new hub as it sounds like the result of a bad hub or one that's on it's way out if you know what i mean. It could also be that your system is showing its age now as P4 systems are rather old these days ...

I'm running magic jack on a Motorola SB6120 Cable Modem and it's working fine, the only thing i can think of that would give you problems is either a router or a firewall that may or may not be blocking the incoming/outgoing connections from the magic jack dongle to the internet. I would suggest ...

Re: Calls interrupt typing
When I get on the phone in another office, it stops my secretary from typing.
I'd get a new secretary.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
There will always be people like you, no the problem for him is that he should probably have a dedicated machine or a thin client to run magic jack if he's using magic ...

So, I am guessing we are SOL then? No more updates, passwords and stuff seem to be encrypted now, etc. Is there NO way to downgrade the EXE's ??? It seems every time I check this thread and a fix has come out my MJ has already updated !

Yeah from what i understand they only recently started the QoS settings in routers so if you have a router made before 2-3 years ago it probably won't have it in there even if you upgrade the firmware. If you buy a new linksys router its in there for sure, as far as the other companies i'm not sure ...

For those who aren't too tech savvy i'd say stick with Linksys first, then netgear, belkin's alright, d-link in my personal experience would be the worst type of router to get. Though I've currently got an Untangle Box Setup as my router now, but that's only if you absolutely know what you're doing ...

I've read alot of things on this forum myself as i've just gotten magic jack recently. From what i've read though the best way to avoid this problem is as you said to either get another xp pc to solely run magic jack or to go with a thin client. I'm using my old pc that's running xp for my magic ...
