anyone have any luck trying to get money back from MagicJack from purchasing directly online? it is not working as stated and have 5 year contract that I want to get my money back from.

putting at 1/3 level may work for just so long. I did the same and now still get beeps. it will not go away as they have poor filtering on VOIP.
have to restart your computer several times a day and that seems to help but not eliminate.

I am new to this post but have read most of it from June thru Aug.
I have tried everything too.
I personally don't hear the beeps (at least not very often), but my wife does. so that theory is valid I think.
Not perfect, but works for me, just not the wife.
