So the 256 wasn't a machine, just a DOM your friend gave you. The 256 is not XP Pro, there's no way Pro could possibly fit on a 256 DOM. I'm sure it's XPe, which is based on Pro. It's just reporting as XP Pro. The 9450 and the 9455 are exaclty the same motherboard, even though they look entirely ...

I have 9450SE with the Wyse sytem info:
Cpu Speed: 549 MHZ.
Memory : 515568 KB.
Flash : 183.
System Partion: 181 MB
OS : Window XPe ver 5.01
When I plug my MJ , the screen tell me that found a new device,
then popup FOUND NEW HARDWARE WIZARD, I press NEXT---Cannot Install this Hardware
