I'm happy to report that as of this afternoon Oct 15, 2010, we are able to make outgoing calls to numbers in our area code (210). Apparently, mj got on this right away. kudos.

After not working all last week, today, Monday, September 28, my magic jack magically started working properly again. Maybe that's why they call it magic jack. I have made and received calls all day without any problems.
