thanks! i've switched from IE to firefox already. i've changed the settings to allow magic jack tech chat through, but still the new window that appears after i click on the live chat icon remains blank.
what am i doing wrong?

hello again. i just have to ask how you resolved this issue? how did you "call" the help desk? is there a toll free number or something? I can't get through live chat - and i really don't know why. when i click on the live chat icon, the new chat window just stays blank.

did you also extend it for another year? we seem to have exactly the same problem. have u tried live chat? can you get through? i've been trying to get technical help from them for almost a week now but i can't get through their live chat...

Just today, whenever I click on the link to this forum, or the link to live chat (www.tinyurl) or the icon on the mj website for live chat, a window with this message appears:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item ...

oh no! really? so meaning it's only me who can't access live chat. just now, when i clicked on the link www.tinyurl, there's a window that says "can't access the file,link,etc. you do not have certain permissions to allow this" or something like that.
would you know what i should do about this ...

Thanks so much doc.. it's good to know that the live chat is really unavailable - & not just to me. I've tried it on 2 different computers, 3 USB ports, and have upgraded around 5 times already, restarted countless times - still the error 400. I'm at my wits' end, really.

Hi again! I already did everything you told me - did the housecall antivirus (which turned up nothing, too - and switched to mozilla. But still the error 400 & still no live chat help. It still says "undergoing maintenance" just like 3 days ago. What to do now? Thanks
