Those of you who have bought and are using (or have used) one of the A/C powered extenal USB ports, the one recommended on the Wikipages. I've got one, and it sure looks like the jack from the a/c adapter just isn't going into the hub all the way. It's still 3/16ths out. Can't force it in any more ...

And you didn't notice any improvement from the HBB1, so that's why you upgraded to FIOS?
(or... have you moved and FIOS wansn't available at your previous residence and ...

Is it merely giving you the ability to set up QoS as one could also do with a router?, or is it truly 'boosting' bandwidth?

A A/C powered USB hub is being shipped....
I'm reinstalling the (wired) Linksys BEFSR41 router and will set up QoS....
Getting a Hawking Broadband ...
