I have been trying to port my MJ number away to another carrier (callcentric) and after two months and 6 rejections due to "address/zip code" mismatch I am getting very frustrated. MJ support gives me different info everytime I ask them what address to use.

Ugh... had this problem back in November, but it has been fine 6 or 7 months but now it is back again!

This is the problem as near as I can figure... I have a Dallas Texas MJ number, and a Pennsylvania cell phone (Verizon). When I am in Dallas and call my mj number from my cell, it SHOULD be routed ...

I would NEVER trust magicjack with an important thing like my number! You can read in this forum over and over again about their poor customer service, their many broken promises and their buggy software!

Keep your mj number for cheap outgoing calls, but transfer your number to somebody reputable ...

I just spent an hour and 45 minutes chatting with mj no-support people and they could not figure it out! They even wanted me to download and install divx. I said no because I knew it had nothing to do with whether or not I had divx installed.

I got the Lucky Me and now MJ has taken control of my volume control (on Win XP Pro).

I cannot turn the master volume on my machine up past about 75% and I cannot turn it down past about 25%.

I wonder if they actually test their upgrades before they push them out?

magicJack might as well not offer any support, because all they do is make you more frustrated by the time you are done with them!

All companies are going to have some kind of problem every now and then, but how they handle those problems are ...

I have the Window Searching Option set to MATCH EXACT TITLE.

Sometimes it will popup when a call comes in but it always goes away.

Yes, mine is working again too... my verizon cell can now call my mj number again!

I guess all the carriers finally decided to fix the problem at the same time... ha ha ha.

I have the same problem. Interestingly enough it happens with my Verizon cell phone when I try to call my mj number to check my voicemail. BTW, if tech support tells you to do some kind of upgrade, it's probably pointless because the problem also occurs when my computer is off.

And my voicemail ...

Do you mean you want to port out your current mj number, but then keep your current mj service with a new number?

You would have to ask mj support directly about that one... I am not sure how that would work!

Glad it is working... if you need to open the mj window, you can right-click once on the little autosizer icon down in the toolbar and uncheck ENABLED. You can now open up mj window. Then just check enabled again when you want it to minimize again.

Open the magicJack window, then open the AutoSizer window. magicJack should appear in the top list under Currently Open Windows. Click on magicJack so it is highlighted and click AutoSize button. Under Actions To Perform select Minimize then click OK and it should appear under Windows Targeted By ...
