Its no longer listed in features, whats going on?

What is the current upgrade?

Ive had version 2.011 since it came out and didnt even know there were any upgrades since.

Starting today all of a sudden my magicjack will close and a MagicTalk window will open up stating 2009 product of the year and then my magicjack will reload WHATS UP WITH THAT?

I agree, and im not crazy about them advertising MJ using my voicemail.

Is this the update for windows 7 only users or is it for everybody?

I dont see about anywhere.

Right click on the top of your softphone, where YOUR phone number is. You will see your MJ version after the terms of service. It will be grayed out.

Will i lose my current Canadian number when i renew my MJ for another year or i will still have the same number?

And if the answer is i wont lose the number, it means that as long as i renew it i wont have any problen losing the number?

When i activate call forwarding to my cell half the time my voicemail kicks in after the first ring, anybody else have this problem?

I get better reception using a headset then with a handset, is that typical and if so why.

I took my Magicjack on holidays a couple weeks ago, connected to freebie WiFi at the resort, and calls were kinda crappy, cutting in and out etc.
I toggled the setting (on top left of the softphone) to the AIRCARD setting, the rightmost one - NOT the WiFi setting, and call quality improved 1000 ...

I just got a new cell phone however i am unable to call it through magic jack, my old cell phone works fine. When i dial the number there is a busy signal then it disconnects. I put my new cell # in call forwarding and dialed my magic jack number with my old cell phone and my new cell rang with no ...

Mine worked out of the box but there were little problems afterwards that had to be addressed.

Can you make outgoing calls and if so does the softphone pop up then?
What happens when you call your MJ, does it go right to voicemail? Have you tried calling your MJ with another phone other than your cell phone when it is minimized??? What if you manually click on the MJ icon ...

I use windows XP

In the advanced users menu ( under menus) click on minimize to tray. Then you can minimize it to get it off your screen. It will pop up again the next time you get or make a call. There are 3rd party programs which will prevent it from poping up in the first place.

Can someone tell me if there is an advantage to using a headset over a handset in terms of quality and in solving some of the typical problems that a lot of people are having.

If you are making in excess of what MJ deems "normal" they will terminate your account no matter how many years you have paid for.
It is in the TOS which you agreed too.

I have a tracfone and have no problem calling my magic jack number.

Does anyone have this problem?

When i start my computer in the morning i always check magic jack
by calling the number with my cell phone. Here is what happens:
